Mattress Dimensions and Bed Sheet Sizes

If you are buying bed sheets or mattress toppers online you need to know the size of your beds and the standard bed sheet and mattress sizes. The table below shows the standard bed sheet sizes in North America and, at the bottom the standard bed sheet and mattress sizes for the UK.
These are the standard depths for fitted bed sheets. If you have an extra deep mattress you will need deeper fitted bed sheets. Flat sheets need at least 12 inches or 30 cms of tuck in.
