Blankets are Still Popular

Traditional woolen blankets are still popular, in spite of the convenience of duvets and comforters. But now they come in softly luxurious cashmere, merino, mohair and lambs wool as well as cotton, down and more. It is worth spending as much as you can afford to buy quality blankets that will last you for the rest of your life. They won’t help you to throw them off in the mornings though, you will just want to stay cuddled up in them!

Cotton blankets too are light and warm and have the additional advantage of being easily washed at home. Choose from huge range of cotton blankets including thick and warm textured cotton, brushed cotton fleece so soft it feels like cashmere and zingy colorful cotton blankets great for a more contemporary bedroom or for children’s rooms.

Down Filled Blankets are really a cross between a duvet (comforter) and a blanket. Machine washable and covered in down proof cotton they make an easy additional throw over cover on those summer nights when it turns unexpectedly cold, or as an additional cover in winter.

Silk Blankets are unsurpassed for luxury and comfort. Just try sleeping naked under silk-its heaven! Silk is so light and soft that you hardly know its there. It keeps you warm and snug in winter, yet does not overheat you in summer.

Natural fabrics breathe, so that moisture is absorbed and drawn away from you. What a great wedding gift a silk blanket would be!
